Terms & Conditions for virtual exhibitions

  1. Springupgallery.co.uk is owned and managed by Sarah Osborne. Correspondence to be addressed to hello@springupgallery.co.uk.

  2. Spring Up Gallery operates an online shop and sometimes, a virtual exhibition space or pop up show.. Work appearing in the virtual exhibition space will have a link directly to the artist/maker site and any sales transactions are to be handled between the exhibiting artist/maker and the customer directly. If applicable, Spring Up Gallery will endeavour to forward any sales enquiries made through the website to the artist/maker within 24 hours of receipt. 

  3. Pop Up shows will have a separate show specific set of T&Cs for participants.

  4. Work appearing in the on-line shop can be purchased through SpringUp Gallery in the usual way and the stated terms and conditions will apply to these purchases. Please see the Delivery and Returns policy and Privacy Policy.

  5. All work submitted for virtual exhibition must be the artist/maker’s own and adhere to standard copyright practice. Spring Up Gallery will not be liable for any copyright infringement by an exhibiting artist/maker.

  6. Artists/maker agrees to submit high quality images of their work, which represent colour and texture as accurately as possible.  Descriptions and dimensions will also be required. Details of how to submit will be sent with the invitation/acceptance to participate correspondence. Sale prices displayed must be consistent with prices for your work across other venues/platforms.

  7. Spring Up Gallery will promote the website and exhibition on social media channels and by newsletter and in print advertising where appropriate opportunity arises.  Artists/makers are encouraged to carry out their own promotion in addition.

  8. By submitting images for exhibition, artist/maker consents to the use of the image for promotional purposes by Spring Up Gallery for the current exhibition.

  9. Fees for participating in the exhibition, or as a result of sales made from the exhibition will be notified to the artist/maker in advance and as a part of the invitation to participate. 

  10. Spring Up Gallery website will be available 24 hours per day.  In the event of technical difficulties resulting in website outage for more than 48 hours, artist/maker reserves the right to request a refund of any submission fees paid by them.
